Individual Psychotherapy
Individuals who see me present with wide range of issues including experiencing anxiety, low mood, depression, trauma, grief, attachment issues, relationship difficulties, gender dysphoria as well as parenting and work-related distresses. Therapy can help to gain a better understanding of the contributing causes to your current state of mind and support a process for you to get to a position where you develop more autonomy in your life and relationships.
Couples Therapy
Couples who come to me for therapy often seek help, when they are no longer able to discuss or resolve issues effectively and behave in a way that push them apart and gradually experience a deep emotional disconnect.
Others may seek therapy at points of significant changes and transitions in their lives, such as becoming parents, grandparents, having an illness, experiencing a loss or other life events that impacts their relationships and closeness.
At other times they seek support at the point of going through separation or divorce. This significant decision can be more complicated, when couples have young children.
I offer a safe space to explore ways in which couples can work on understanding themselves and each other within their relationship, so they can communicate with each other and rediscover their connections.
Therapy will also support couples to adjust to the changes in their lives whatever they may be. It can also help with developing new ways of co-parenting during and post separation.

Family Therapy offers an opportunity to family members to explore roots to their relationship difficulties; Whether it might be related to individual’s mental health difficulties, the impact of life circumstances such as; health-related issues, loss, disability, transitions, new additions to families, adopted children, blended families, adult children, estrangement etc.

Parent Sessions
Becoming a parent can be a very emotional journey right from the beginning. The changes come with this important life cycle can trigger a lot of emotions for each individual, can impact couple’s relationship and make the family life complicated.
Individuals’ values and belief can clash when children are parented by two parents, (or more adults), which can lead it to be a more complex task for adults and a confusing situation for children.
As much as it is seen as one of the most rewarding and wonderful aspect of one’s life, parenting can be a challenging job that can sometimes confront individuals on many levels.
Parent sessions can offer a safe environment where you can reflect on your parenting; its challenges, dilemmas and/or developing effective ways of parenting and co-parenting with your partner.
Parent sessions will also support you gaining a better understanding of your children’s needs, emotional difficulties and/ or challenging behaviours, as well as finding ways of supporting them appropriately.
Connecting with your child in the way you would have always wanted is possible at any point of their lives, whether they are babies, toddler, teenagers, or adults. By exploring your emotional state of mind and the challenges you have dealt with throughout your parenthood, you can reach to an understanding of the aspects that gets / got in the way of you forming a trusting relationship with your child.
Autism and Neurodiversity
I have extensive experience of working with children, young people and adults who are neurodivergent, have a diagnosis of Autism, ADHD and Learning Difficulties, as well as complex health conditions and other disabilities. I work very closely with parents and / or other family members to help explore the impact of the diagnosis on the family life and individuals.
With individuals, who have a diagnosis of Autism or consider themselves as neurodivergent, therapy often helps them to make sense of their identity in the context of their differences and to navigate their life and relationships by building their resilience and learning to communicate their needs effectively.
With Neurodivergent Couples
When both or one of the partners have a diagnosis of Autism or describe themselves as neurodivergent, individuals can experience some confusion and frustration in their relationship. The expectations of their loved ones in their relationship can be unclear at times. It often takes time for each partner to convey their individuality and familiarising themselves with their partners’ unique ways of expressing their thoughts and feelings and actions.
Therapy can help create a safe space for neurodivergent couples to gain a deeper understanding and appreciation of each other by exploring different perspectives and learning how to create a nourishing and supportive partnership.
For parents of children with a diagnosis of Autism or neurodivergent, the focus often is helping them to explore the impact of the diagnosis on the family life, individuals as well as their parenting. Therapy can help with coming to terms with their child’s diagnosis and to recognise their individuality and create a capable environment where children can fulfil their potentials.
